Wellersburg is a small borough in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, United States. According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.5 square miles, all of it land. As of the 2010 census, the population of Wellersburg was 339. The town is located in the Appalachian Mountains, approximately 150 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. The Pennsylvania Turnpike passes through the northern part of the borough. Wellersburg is home to the Wellersburg United Methodist Church, the Wellersburg Volunteer Fire Department, and the Wellersburg Cemetery. The surrounding area is known for its scenic beauty and outdoor recreation opportunities, such as hiking, fishing, and hunting.
